Leonard Evans-Executive Director and Founder
Graduated from Christ for the Nations Institute, (two-year Bible School in Dallas, Texas) in 1978.
I’ve been in full-time ministry for the past 48 years.I traveled for 30 years as an evangelist around USA and Canada. Participating in youth camps, retreats, singles conferences, door-to-door witnessing, street ministry, prison & jail ministry. And leading the entire services for many churches.I served an associate pastor with the Grace Life Church in Pryor, Oklahoma for two years, and also worked with the Pryor on Fire Teen Ministries— with troubled at-risk youth; this was a ministry to juveniles from across the state of Oklahoma, working with Thunderbird Youth Academy; which is run by the National Guard Bureau, of Washington DC.
During my time here in Ohio, I led a Discipleship Group of 40 young men for five years, 18 different churches and from three different counties, called Men Of Faith In Accountability (MOFIA). I was a board member and paid staff at the New Grounds Café where young adults would come to grow and develop in their relationship with God. For six years, I developed and implemented a live-in discipleship program in my home with five guys; which was also in OHIO.
Over-all, I’ve been disciplining young for the past 48 years from many places around the USA, and many countries around the world. Because of my love to help people, I’ve had many opportunities to make a difference in their lives with the help of Google Translator, in Spanish, German and Italian.
Currently: I am a mentor / making disciples / a life coach to a lot of people! I am meeting with an average of 18 guys a week. And still others that I just happened to run into during the week. I volunteer at two drug rehabilitation centers four days a week, and a local high school (one day a week) as a mentor / making disciples. Here are a few things that I have gathered along the way: people want to be noticed; they want to know that you care about them; They really desire FaceTime!! The ‘CRY’ is for you to help them “Discover Who They Have Always Been”! You must be willing and ready to invest in them: Time, effort and sometimes money.
